JUNE

6th    Roast Chicken, roast potatoes, runner beans and glazed carrots

13th Mixed Platter of Cold Meats served with potato, green and mixed salads

20th Oven Baked Hake with Chorizo, new potatoes and mange tout, changed to: Pork, Leek and Cider Pie served with chunky chips and garden peas.

27th CLUB   HANDOVER   DINNER   AT STOKE LODGE HOTEL –   NO   lunch   meeting

 

JULY

4th         Seafood Chowder served with peas, baby sweet corn and crusty bread.

11th      Shepherds Pie with thyme, glazed carrots, summer cabbage and gravy.

18th      Confit Belly of Pork with mustard grain mash, broccoli, fennel and a cider jus.

25th        Chicken Jalfrezi with saag aloo, a lentil dahl and basmati rice.

 

AUGUST

1st          Deep Fried Scampi with chunky chips, garden peas and tartar sauce.

8th         Cajun Chicken on a risotto of sundried tomatoes, green peas and topped with rocket salad and parmesan shavings.

15th      Heritage Tomato and Mozzarella  Quiche with crushed new potatoes, french beans, and  shredded  fennel with a citrus dressing.

22nd     Pork and Leek Sausages, creamed potato and braised leeks and onion gravy.

29th      NO  LUNCH  MEETING.

 

SEPTEMBER

5th         Poached Salmon with new potatoes, asparagus, garden peas, served with a Hollandaise sauce. 

12th      Chargrilled  Lamb Steak, sauté potatoes, runner beans, chargrilled red pepper and gravy.

19th       Chicken Caesar Salad with anchovies, green beans, new potatoes and parmesan shavings. 

26th       Roast Loin of Pork  with roast potatoes, leeks, glazed carrots and a cider jus.
