PRESIDENT’S OVERSEAS CITY-BREAK
PRESIDENT’S OVERSEAS CITY-BREAK – MARCH 2019: SEVILLE
Gentlemen, the President’s Overseas City-Break this Rotary year is a four-night visit to Seville in Spain. Seville is the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region. It’s famous for its vibrant flamenco dancing. Major landmarks include the ornate Alcázar castle complex, built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty, and the 18th-century Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza bullring, Landmark square with a large water feature, seats with painted ceramic tiles & an ornate pavilion. The Gothic Seville Cathedral is the site of Christopher Columbus’s tomb and a minaret turned bell tower, the Giralda. The old town, covering a large area, is a maze of little streets and alleyways – and our hotel is located nearby in the heart of Seville’s shopping centre.
President Peter has requested a core four-night break and this is the extent of the President’s trip: Bristol – Seville – Bristol 4th March to 8th March – but those who may wish to extend their stay can do so and there are various options listed below. To read more, download the full info here
